Welcome to my old adventure of my new adventure in teaching. I am moving my teaching location to my home to afford you a better opportunity for one on one instruction and to help with costs associated with learning. I approach teaching just as I do many things and that is to help stimulate your creative side and help you realize and experience rewards of creating. You will learn how to work with metal clay and bronze clay techniques to create a specific project. Together we will explore new levels of working with clay and achieving textures from nature as well as everyday items found in your home. My goal is to be a ‘catalyst’ in your creative process.

Classroom is located a half mile from Mission Trails Regional Park off of Mission Gorge Rd. Space is limited to 6 students and if coming from out of town there are a few hotels located within 6 miles from my home. Lunch will be provided for an additional $10.00 per day, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch. We have a spacious outdoor dining area with refrigerators, and microwave oven.

PATTIE PHIPPS-PEARL OF THE SEA FINE SILVER RING - Saturday, June 6 (10 am to 4 pm) & Sunday, June 7, 2009 (10 am to 3:30 pm) Two Day class. Cost  $90.00 We all love adornments for our fingers! Learn how to properly measure ring for accurate sizing. In this class you will learn how to add a Fresh Water pearl to add a touch of elegance. $90.00

PATTIE PHIPPS - BEZEL SETTINGS.  Saturday, August 1 (10 am to 4 pm) & Sunday, August 2 (10 am to 3:30 pm), 2009. Two day class with instruction on how to make bezel settings out of fine silver bezel wire. A cabochon and bezel wire kit is included in cost. $110.00

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your participation in a class, you will be given credit to attend a future class of the same length provided you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled class. Cancellation fee is $10.00. Your fee will be returned in full if Pattie needs to cancel the class.

Airport and Hotel Information: We have one airport, San Diego International Airport, at Lindbergh Field. I will provide hotel information for you if you will be requiring accommodations as well as driving instructions to studio.

How To Enroll: Registration begins on Thursday, May 21st at 10 AM Pacific Time. Please email: pattie@pattiephipps.com indicating which class(s) you are interested in taking. You will be notified by email if you are enrolled. Once enrolled, I will then send you an e-mail with a link to pay for the class by credit card (Visa or MC only). If you do not make it into your desired class, I will put your name on a waiting list in all classes and’notify’you if an opening becomes available.
